My new musical obsession: Two Door Cinema Club.
Two Door Cinema Club is an “Electropop/Indie Rock” band from Northern Ireland formed 2007 ( more info here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Two_Door_Cinema_Club).
This rad Irish trio sounds like some hybrid of Phoenix, Passion Pit and Asian Kung Fu Generation. It’s electronica goodness plus awesome baselines equals one of the coolest, funkiest tunes I’ve heard. None of that phony Owl City mushy crap. These guys are one of the freshest sounds I’ve heard this year.
Their album has been on the loop in my player for the past 5 days and will probably be playing for the whole month or so. I’d say the whole album is amazing and just really catchy.
